- free beginner run fun
- every Sunday 10am
- now with 'Couch to 5km'!
- & an up-to-10km option!
Celebrating our 1st anniversary on 12th April!
You can run - but can you persuade a neighbour to try?
Hundreds of people in our area love running but we know many hundreds more might need some encouragement to give it a go?

Can you help us persuade a neighbour to come join us over a few, friendly Sundays?

We'll walk/run and chat and nobody will get left behind.

We have a continuous 3km run group, a walk/run group and walk-only.

And we all come together at the end for warm-down exercises, usually with Ruth, a local yoga instructor.

And option of coffee and cake on College Rd (Angolos or Morty & Bob's).

You just need a pair of comfortable trainers, no fancy kit - and not even trainers if you'd like to walk with us!

Earn your movie reward & treat someone less fortunate!
We'll also treat runners to £15 off a Lexi Cinema membership usually costing £45!

You collect six stamps on our "Lexi Run Crew Card" to earn this.

Our beginners will ALSO be 'paying forward' because each membership bought will generate a donation to the Lexi's "Refugee Cinema Club" with Salusbury World, our local refugee charity.

You can read more about the Lexi's Community Programming here.

Here's a video of how we got on with our first week - which is now a year ago!

You can see further weeks on our Instagram feed.

We typically attract 40-50 runners every week, including a group that leaves the Lexi at 9.30am to do a longer run.

What's the run like?

Local thanks

The run is possible thanks to Queens Park Harriers who are on a mission to spread 'the love of running' locally.

They provide the qualified coaches each week & give their time & expertise for free.

We're also grateful to runners from Kensal Tri, Run Harlesden, Queens Park Social Run. & Walk2Run,

And massive thanks also to brilliant local past sponsors such as Beyond Health in Queens Park, Loft Clinic of Lonsdale Rd & Kensal Rise's Steeps One Shot.

"I just wanted to say how much I absolutely love the Lexi Run Club. I’ve lived in London for over 10 years and this is the first time I’ve genuinely felt part of a real community. It’s such a special thing that has been created and I can’t thank you enough for it.

Every Sunday is something I look forward to - not just for the running, but for the people, the energy and the atmosphere. The organisation is great too: friendly, inclusive, and effortlessly well-run. I am very thankful for the team who organised this uplifting and welcoming club!

It’s rare to find something that brings people together in such a meaningful and consistent way. I’ve met lovely people, pushed myself more than I expected, and felt a sense of belonging that I didn’t realise I was missing.

...thank you for the experience so far. It’s made a real difference".

Thank you, it's been great to meet people in the local area I woudn't otherwise have come across, London being what it is.

It's been great to connect and also find a way to enjoy running-via chatting to people- when it's never held interest for me before (I do martial arts/dance classes for exercise). The leadership was great, thank you all for giving your time to this. Very pleased I walked past a random poster on a tree one Saturday, and turned up the next day!

Thank you so much for the Lexi Run Crew initiative. It’s given me a jump start to getting out there again.

"this little run has taken quite a few people out of their comfort zone and connected them with other people in a city where it is easy to feel very lonely. Thanks to you and Jamie and all the running coaches - I am very grateful.

I love it. I think its fabulous. I speak to different people each week who say the same. They say its part of their weekly routine now and they don't want it to end. I love the fact that its open to everyone whether they're seasoned runners or absolute beginners. And I love that people are getting out and exercising!!

I want to say thank you for a wonderful opportunity to run with your team! I loved that all people have been included, welcomed and got the choice of comfortable phase which they could do :) I took a few warm up exercises for my own running practice...

it has been great to run together as a family, and the cinema ticket was a key motivator for the kids
