A Beautiful Setting
Merchant Taylor Lake, near Watford, is one of the great nearby open-water swim spots!
It's just a 35 min drive from Kensal Rise or can be reached by train/bike.
Members in our network swim there often from April-September. The lake is managed via our partner ATW.
Technique
And we take it over for a morning every May!
As you can see from this report, we team up with Active Training World & Aloha Tri to rent the lake for our 'Kensal Takeover'.
You can swim only or get lessons from Rav Digne (pictured) and his team.
It's on Sunday 11th May this year (2025), 10am -11 am this year.

Children's lessons
Rav and his Aloha Tri team also organise swimming lessons for the children, making this a family morning out.
