About Us
Blenheim official photo - via Limelight final_edited.jpg

We're your neighbours - there's only a quarter of us in the pic above!

We want to help as many people as possible overcome barriers to enjoying fun exercise.

We know many people are shy, not least of clubs and 'tribes'/feeling a bit out of place.

So Kensal Tri is NOT a club or an already-tight group but a bit of a hotch-potch of different neighbours from around Queens Park, Harlesden, Willesden & Kilburn!

We're 4-74 years old, all kinds of shapes/sizes and levels of fitness.

Our simple goal is to bring lots of us together to:

- get fitter, meet new people and make a difference locally

WHAT WE DO

We work with local gyms, personal trainers, clubs, generous local businesses to offer free and discounted run, swim, bike, walk, cardio opportunities.

You can do as little or as much of that as you like and leave it there.

But if you decide you'd like a challenge we'll also enter you into a fun, sporting event and help you train so you'll enjoy the day. Our most popular is Blenheim Palace Triathlon (where you can run 5km or swim 750m or bike 20km - or do all three).

Most of our entrants want to fundraise for local charities and we will help you do that too. Between 2021-22 over 250 local people joined us to raise over £215,000 for local charities!

You don't have to pay anything to join us for some runs or cycles or swims and you don't have to do an event.

Contact Giles at kensaltriathlon@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Blenheim - Sat 3rd June, 2023 - our most popular event

Blenheim Triathlon is one of the most popular nationally-organised events with over 7,000 people taking part.

But for the past five years our Kensal Tri neighbours have taken the biggest team!

Over 300 near-strangers joined-up with our team to do the events there in 2021 and 2022 - and we want to double these numbers in 2023!

You can read all about us here - the Kilburn Times actually liked this so much they joined us, with a Relay team in 2021!

The events on the day are MUCH easier than it might sound - for example, you could enter just to do a 5.4km run (Relay) and walk some of it!

The options are below:

Supporting local charities

You don't have to fundraise to take part if you'd just like to enjoy the local training.

But our local small charities have been struggling to stay open after Covid and we'd LOVE it if you do want to create a fundraising profile to show solidarity and support.

You can pick any local charity of your choice.

And we deliberately set the fundraising bar MUCH lower than for most events as we know you don't want too much pressure.

We know from past years you will find it easy to fundraise for Triathlon because friends will be impressed by what you're doing - and we will help you raise the £100.

Here are some of the charities who took part in 2021 and/or 2022!
